GALLERY OF NEW HOMES

It seems more than a few builders these days are adopting the "Design/Build" process of homebuilding. Design/Builders work with you to channel your general ideas into clear details so you are aware of costs before construction begins. At Andrew Homes, we are involved with your project from concept to completion, all the while keeping your budget in mind. Our Design Team will assist you in developing a basic concept for the scale and style of your home and then develop a preliminary design based on a "wish list" of items that you would like included in your home. The final design for your home will be the result of several meetings and interviews with our Design Team in which we do our best to interpret your vision and make your dream home a reality.
So what makes Andrew Homes stand out among other design/builders? Our customers tell us we’re good listeners. We will work hard to build a relationship with you and to understand what areas and elements of your new home will be the most important to you. Whether it’s $200,000 or over $1,000,000, all of our customers are on a budget, and everyone wants to funnel their dollars into those areas of their new home that they find most important. For some, that’s the kitchen and family room. Others want to focus on the master suite or a state-of-the-art media room. We take the time to discover these priorities with each new customer and design their home accordingly. During the interviewing process, we are able to advise our homeowners on individual costs of materials and design elements. Herein lies the greatest strength of Andrew Homes’ approach to custom homebuilding. Our Team’s understanding of costs associated with building a home results in a truly custom design that fits within your budget. Working with Andrew Homes means not having to commission an independent architect or designer who probably has a limited understanding of homebuilding costs. It is not uncommon for homeowners to ask an architect or designer to design their dream home, only to find that this new home would cost 20-30% above the amount they have budgeted. The designer is not able to point out that for thousands of dollars less, you could use 18-inch overhangs instead of 3-foot overhangs, and still achieve the same effect. The frustrating result of this can be months of time lost and thousands of dollars in design fees wasted.
Our 10 model homes available to view have always served as great starting points for our customers looking to build. These homes give our customers a feel for the quality and creativity that goes into building an Andrew Home, but more importantly, may help them visualize a certain design element or spatial relationship during the design process. We find that 80% of contract, custom homes that we build are plans that we’ve never built before. They are completely original houseplans that are the culmination of the homeowners’ own ideas and our creative suggestions. The other 20% of custom homes we build are variations of other plans that we’ve built in the past where homeowners have taken some basic ideas from our models or other custom homes and we’ve added their personal touches.
When developing a plan, our Design Team tries to take the best advantage of your lot’s location, topography, size and surroundings. Your home’s size, shape, and exposed basement window or walkout potential are all factors that depend heavily on the lot. We also study the direction of orientation to best take advantage of views or sunlight. Andrew Homes can assist you in searching for that perfect location. We have some beautiful wooded lots available in the southwestern part of Green Bay. Call us for more information!
From concept to completion and beyond, our Team works very closely with you and with each other to deliver the best possible homebuilding experience.
