Apple Hill Farms will be nearly 1,200 acres with large lots, an 80 acre wooded nature preserve, several attractive ponds and rolling hills, which will allow for walk-outs or large basement windows as well as views of the Valley. Restrictive covenants will ensure consistent property values. The minimum home size is 3,400 sq ft for a 2-story and 3,000 for a ranch. Do your kids already attend school in the Appleton School District? If so, when you move to Apple Hill Farms, they can stay in the same schools! The following details for a family move to outside the district were provided by the Appleton Area School District (AASD):
If you currently live within the AASD and you are moving outside of the AASD (inter-district), your child may continue to attend the school where they are currently enrolled (and can then transition through that same elementary, middle and high school path as they were initially on) if they qualify for a Tuition Waver (forms may be obtained from the school office or the District’s Attendance office). However, they are required to apply for open enrollment at the next possible time (February each year) that the application process is available to remain in the District for the present school year and beyond. Those students attending under at Tuition Waver agreement and siblings of such students, will have their applications approved for open enrollment. As per District policy, these students are assured continued enrollment regardless of space availability unless they commit a violation of school rules, which equals an expellable offense. Parents who wish to have their child remain in the same school after an inter-district move occurs, must complete the necessary paperwork and adhere to all timelines.
